How Does PilotRep Calculate Reputation?
PilotRep calculates reputation by averaging all the grades a pilot receives from other players. When leaving a Rep, users select a letter grade from F to A+. Each grade carries an underlying numeric value used to compute the overall score.
Consistent high grades trend toward A or A+ while mixed grades settle in the middle. A single bad grade won't tank a profile, but a pattern of low grades will impact the score over time. Every Rep carries equal weight in the current calculation.
How Are Corporation And Alliance Reps Calculated?
Corporations and Alliances are graded the same way as individual Pilots, by averaging all submitted grades. To keep the score representative of the wider community, members of a Corporation or Alliance cannot leave a Rep on their own Corporation or Alliance. Every Rep counted toward a Corporation or Alliance's score comes from an outside reviewer.
Can I Submit An Anonymous Rep?
Yes. While logged in and leaving a Rep, you can choose to attribute it to your authenticated character or submit it anonymously.
What's The Incentive To Leave A Rep?
There's no direct reward for leaving a Rep today. PilotRep works the same way Wikipedia or product reviews do: the value comes from the community building a shared honest record over time. Every Rep helps New Eden become more transparent for everyone and pilots who participate early are helping build that foundation.
Is PilotRep Affiliated With Fenris Creations?
No. PilotRep is an independent, third-party tool built for the EVE Online community.
Can I Rate Corporations Or Alliances, Or Only Individual Pilots?
You can search and view profiles for Pilots, Corporations and Alliances across New Eden, as well as leave and view Reps for all three.
Can I Edit Or Delete A Rep I've Already Submitted?
No. All Reps are securely and permanently stored on the PilotRep servers to maintain the integrity of the rating system. If a submission contains an error or violates our Terms of Service, please reach out via our Contact Form.
How Does PilotRep Prevent Review Bombing And Spam?
We employ several layered measures to protect the platform from vote manipulation and abuse:
Required Authentication
Pilots must be logged in via official EVE Online SSO to leave a Rep.
Rate Limits
Users are able to leave a Rep on the same Pilot again after 6 months.
Anonymous Rep Limits
Anonymous Reps are capped at 5 per hour and 12 per 24 hours, per account. This has no effect on Reps submitted under your own name.
Affiliation Separation
Reps left by corporation and alliance mates are displayed separately from general community reviews to ensure transparency and highlight potential bias.
Content Constraints
Comments are capped by word and character limits to keep feedback concise and prevent walls of text. Links are not permitted inside a comment; use the dedicated ZKillboard Link field if you'd like to attach a killmail as evidence.
Active Moderation and Filters
Automated profanity filters block abusive language, and comments are monitored for policy violations.
What Happens If I Violate The Rules?
A character found submitting content that violates our Terms of Service, including harassment, unfounded serious accusations or other abusive content, can be permanently banned from submitting Reps. A ban also removes every Rep that character has previously submitted. This does not affect Reps that have been left about you; it only affects Reps you've submitted to others.
There is no warning or strike system. Depending on severity, a single violation can result in an immediate ban.

How Is Top Contributors Calculated?
Top Contributors ranks pilots by how many qualifying Reps they've left within the current calendar month, resetting at the start of each month. Both anonymous and named Reps count toward this total.
What Counts As A Qualifying Rep
A Rep must include a comment of at least 10 characters to count toward Top Contributors. Grade-only submissions with no comment aren't counted.
Daily Cap
Only a reviewer's first 10 qualifying Reps each calendar day count toward their monthly total. Anything beyond that in the same day is still submitted normally; it just doesn't add further to their Top Contributors ranking.

What Does "Most Active" Pilots Mean
The Pilot Reps page ranks Pilots by total rep activity which combines Reps they've given plus Reps they've received. It's a measure of engagement with the platform, not just popularity, which is why some of the most engaged Pilots do not yet have a Grade.
Do I Need An Account To Use PilotRep?
No. You can search and view any pilot, corporation or alliance without logging in. However, to leave a Rep or use the advanced Search you must log in with your EVE Online account.
How Is My Character Verified?
PilotRep uses the official EVE Single Sign-On (SSO) system to verify character ownership. The authentication happens entirely through the secure SSO portal, meaning PilotRep never sees or stores your password or account credentials.
How To Verify Your Character
Click "Log In with EVE Online"
You will be redirected to the secure authentication portal.
Select Your Character
Choose the specific character on your account you wish to authenticate with.
Review Permissions
PilotRep only requests minimal public-info scopes required to verify identity.
Approve And Return
Once approved, you are redirected back to PilotRep fully authenticated.
Can Other Players See My Data?
Yes, standard public data points, including Character Name, Character ID, Corporation/Alliance affiliations, Security Status, Character Creation Date and Portrait, are visible on public profiles.
Where Does PilotRep Get Its Data?
Data is pulled directly from public EVE Online endpoints via the ESI API, combined with verified player Reps and Votes.
How Often Is Reputation Updated?
Reps are updated instantly upon submission.
Can I Dispute A Rep?
